Not mock-ups. These are captured from the running demo environment: a fictional construction group, four users with different permissions, documents in four languages. The seconds in the corner of each answer are the real end-to-end time: search, permission check and language model.

Ask in one language, answer from another. A project manager asks in English; the source is a subcontractor framework agreement in German. The answer comes back in English with the page range and the version. No translation step, no separate search per language.

Permissions are checked with his own identity before anything reaches the language model, and they are the permissions already set in SharePoint.
With previous-version search enabled the assistant reports what changed between version 3.0 and 4.0.
What changed since the previous version. With Search previous versions too ticked, the assistant reports that the review cycle is 12 months in version 4.0 and was 24 months in version 3.0, and labels the older source previous version. Unticked by default, so an ordinary answer only ever comes from the version in force.

Is this approved, and by whom. If your organisation uses SharePoint content approval, the status appears in the answer and on the source. The approver's name is only stated when it is written in the document or in a register, never inferred.

In In-depth answer mode the assistant compares the rows of the invoice register with the payment terms of a German-language agreement, shows the arithmetic and names both sources. It also states its own caution: this is a contract-versus-register comparison, not legal advice. The decision stays with the person.

How it works

Answergrove is a SharePoint web part with Microsoft Entra ID sign-in. The pilot runs in the Microsoft Azure environment of SIA KSJ in Sweden Central (EU), so there is no Azure bill for you. After rollout, the index, the AI and the logs run in your own Azure subscription.

Connect & index

We connect the SharePoint sites and Teams libraries you choose and build a private search index, in our EU Azure environment during the pilot and in your own Azure subscription after rollout. Your existing SharePoint permissions are respected, fail-closed.

STEP 02

Ask in any language

Ask in Latvian and get the answer from a Swedish document, with the file and the version. One box, no training and no course: type what you want, and the assistant asks back when the question is unclear.

STEP 03

Cited answer, or an honest no

Every claim shows the document, the page and the version it came from. If no verified source exists, Answergrove says so instead of guessing, as the demo above shows.

Coming in the next version: Answergrove prepares e-mails, tasks and meeting invitations from the chat. You check each one and send it yourself.

Permissions, fail-closed

Answergrove respects your SharePoint permissions: each user only gets answers from documents they can already open. If permissions can't be verified, the document is excluded.

No training on your data

Your documents are never used to train AI models. Language models are Azure OpenAI in the EU Data Zone, under Microsoft's Azure AI data-protection terms.

Answergrove adds one job for everyone in the company: answers from the documents and registers you must get right, with document, page and version. Is this demo the real product?

This page is a simulation with fictional sample data, we will not put anyone's real SharePoint on the public internet. The real product runs in production at a construction group across 865 SharePoint sites with about 400,000 documents in four languages. It went live there in about eight working days.

What does the pilot involve?

One SharePoint site or library you choose. Two weeks, 1,500 EUR fixed. It includes a check of who can see what before the assistant goes live, so nothing becomes visible that was not already. Your team asks real questions about your own documents before you decide on anything bigger. If it is not what you need, it ends there; if you proceed, the 1,500 EUR is credited toward the rollout.

Which languages does it understand?

Any European language. Teams in different countries use the same documents: a Swedish procedure can answer a question asked in English.

Where does Answergrove store data?

During the pilot, the index, document excerpts and logs are in the Microsoft Azure environment of SIA KSJ in Sweden Central (EU), with SIA KSJ as your GDPR processor, and they are deleted within 30 days after the pilot ends. After rollout, the index, the AI and the logs run in your own Azure subscription. Language models are Azure OpenAI in the EU Data Zone. Documents are not used to train AI models.
